Support Service

Many of us live far away from our loved ones, some of us at the other side of the world. We still worry about them feeling lost when we are unable to help them when they need a hand. Perhaps they have a home maintenance issue, need new medical equipment installed or are downsizing.

We wish that we could be there for them, but short-notice time off work is difficult, an extended trip not always possible and long term child-care arrangements unworkable.

That is where we come in. Ideal Living act like a family member on your behalf, alleviating your worry and bringing you peace of mind.

Restoring your peace of mind and your loved one’s wellbeing

We assist your relative with any changes required in the home and keep you informed along the way. Perhaps they need their home modifying on medical advice or need new or updated medical equipment fitted, like a stair-lift, hospital bed or hoist. Maybe they need some home maintenance doing, but find working with contractors too daunting.

We help your relative live independently. We liaise with contractors and medical practitioners on your behalf and ensure all operations happen smoothly and with minimal disruption to them. We ensure their home is safe and comfortable after any changes to maintain or even improve your family member’s wellbeing and quality of life.

As well as being contacted directly from relatives, we also receive referrals from professional services such as Solicitors and Estate Agents.

For all our family support work we ensure family members are kept in the picture about everything we do, so you have peace of mind whilst your loved one’s wellbeing is looked after.

For support for your family, we can help.

“Anne made the whole process less stressful for us all. We are now settled in Canada. Thank you”

“I am so grateful  to Anne for helping my father. She was with him when the removal companies visited for the viewing and quotation. Once moved into his new home she settled him down with a lunch and ensured the removal men unloaded the van.”
